We had our anatomy ultrasound at 21 weeks. Baby French (Thumper, to the initiated) is doing well. All organs are in place and functioning, and the baby is very active.
Thumper appears to be a piggie like Nicholas was, and also gave us quite a show. Sporting a full belly and bladder, Thumper demonstrated that his kicks appear so powerful because he actually uses both his feet to mule kick Mommy. A precious moment is featured at right-- we got to watch the baby sucking his thumb in utero. It's so amazing to us to watch a tiny tiny baby like this, already behaving as he will when he's born.
You have noticed by now we refer to Thumper as "he." Well Mommy's intuition didn't work so well this time-- and Thumper ably showed off his family jewels. We can't wait to meet our new baby boy in person!
